Highlights of the Rugby League World Cup 2013 Dance Programme:
- A £1,000,000 community engagement project
- An exemplar for cross-sector partnership building and investment - 103 dance groups, 20 sport organisations and 9 funding partners
- 4,500 people aged between 7 and 70 took part in a once in a lifetime opportunity to be part of a major international sporting tournament
- 23 events across 5 weeks in 18 Stadiums to a live audience in excess of 450,000 and a broadcast audience of over 1,000,000.
- 70 professional artists and a project management team of 12 were engaged over a 3 month period.
